Blue Iris Farm Homeschool Adventures Field Trip

This special field trip is designed just for young children to explore the farm in a calm, fun, and safe way.

Children will get to:

• Meet friendly farm animals up close

• Learn simple, age-appropriate animal facts

• Watch, listen, and gently interact with animals

• Enjoy short, guided “stop and learn” stations

• Experience the farm through play, curiosity, and wonder

Everything is designed to be slow-paced, hands-on, and joyful for little learners.

Parent Helpers

Parents are an important part of the experience! We invite parents to help by:

• Staying with and supporting small groups

• Helping children listen and follow along

• Sharing simple animal facts with the group

• Keeping little ones safe and together

• Helping make the day smooth and fun for everyone

How the Day Works

• Children are placed into small, friendly groups

• Groups rotate through simple farm stations

• Each stop includes short learning moments and animal time

• Everything is designed to be safe, gentle, and engaging for young children

Our Goal

To give little ones a beautiful first farm experience, where they can feel safe and happy around animals, learn through play and curiosity, build kindness, confidence, and wonder, and make sweet memories on the farm.
